Telegram Personal is not just a messenger, but also a channel of user support and sales of goods/services that is gaining popularity. The key advantage of this customer interaction channel is the option to reach first, searching the user by his nickname and phone number, as well as the presence of group chats where you can participate in discussions with clients.
Telegram integration allows you to receive messages from Telegram clients in the Umnico application in the same way as if you received messages in the client of this messenger. You will not miss any more important inquiries from customers and all correspondence will be stored in Umnico in a systematic way, which will increase the efficiency of both the sales team and customer support.
Integration with Telegram is already a vital necessity for most businesses in Europe and in Asian countries.
Umnico uses an official integration mechanism to aggregate all messages from Telegram, which is extremely reliable. All correspondence with clients can be maintained directly in Umnico or CRM, with no delays, exchanging not only text messages but files as well.
1. In your Umnico personal account, select “Settings — Integrations — Telegram Personal”.
2. The connection window will open. Enter your phone number in the box (numbers only) and click “Connect”.
3. A notification with an authorization code will be sent to the number indicated in Telegram. Enter the code and click “Connect with Telegram”.
4. Telegram will be added to “Connected”. At the same time, a notification will come from Telegram about logging in from a new device. This is normal and the way it should be. From now on, all messages sent to your account will be delivered to Umnico.
If you close the login to your account, the integration will stop until it is reconnected.

After that, connect the amoCRM integration. To connect the integration of Telegram Personal with amoCRM, select “Settings — Integrations” in the left menu and click on amoCRM.
Click “Connect” in the window.
In the tab that opens, select amoCRM (to display amoCRM you should be authorized in amoCRM ) and click “Allow”.
Next, you will be transferred to Umnico to the integration settings page.
Funnel synchronization allows users to select a funnel in amoCRM and the status where deals will be transferred. When a deal is sent to a specific funnel and to any next status after “Unsorted”, tags will be created in the deals indicating the integration channel through which the deal came, such as a message (message/comment).
If you need deals to be sent to the Unsorted, indicate “Send to Primary Funnel “Unsorted”. But in this case, neither the tags nor the work phone number will be added to the deal.
Reach out first — amoCRM offers the option to initiate a dialogue in WhatsApp /Telegram Personal (even if you haven’t had any correspondence with this user before) from the deal, provided that the integration is enabled. amoCRM interface allows you to reach out first only with WhatsApp /Telegram Personal.
Deal setup — you need to choose what to do when the client reapplies for an archived/closed deal. Create a new deal or send a message to the last closed deal.
After configuring the settings, click the “Save” button.
At this point, setting up the integration with amoCRM is complete.
